And you say New York City…We’re bringing that ERIMAJ sound back to the city and we’re taking it uptown. This is an engagement we’ve been really looking forward to. It’s a double bill with our good friend Fabian Almazan and his trio featuring a string quartet. This is something you don’t want to miss. Got some special guest lined up for the evening so like we always say, it will be nothing short of epic. Come journey with us.
The video adaptation you are about to view was created by our friend Leron Thomas. Thomas is a brilliant artist in his own right, known for his musical exploits that defy the norm, but recently he has been presenting these visual pieces that take the music to another level. We decided to collaborate on Plants to shake things up and wake the people up. This is a conversation piece. There is much more to it than meets the eye. The symbolism, the story. It’s deeper. It’s bigger than music. Enjoy!
So I know we said the wax would be available by now but there was a minor set back. The manufacturing company that presses the vinyl is in Staten Island and they were heavily affected by Hurricane Sandy. This pushed a lot of their pressings back. The good news is that they’re back up and running and with that being said the Conflict Of A Man 45’s are being completed as we speak. Don’t believe us, just take a look below. Trial press run. First batch. Let’s go!!
I know we’re a little late with the post but we’ve had to give ourselves a couple weeks to come down from the European tour. We want to say thank you to everyone that came out to each show in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Berlin, Paris and Stockholm. You all were apart of history, our very first transatlantic tour. Give yourselves a round of applause! LOL. Big shoutouts to Niels, Jen, JAW Family, TSF Jazz, Magnus, Jean-Charles, NSJC, BIRD, Monarch-Berlin, Duc des Lombards, Fasching, that crazy driver in Paris and everyone that held us down. We love you all. As a token of our appreciation here are a few snaps captured by photographer Max Krüger. These definitely present the true essence of the tour and our style. Instant. Vintage.

We know you guys are dying to get the physical copies and believe us, we’re dying to get them to you. We recently got word that the single 45’s (with Conflict Of A Man A side and Nothing Like This B side) are going to press and will be available very soon as a collaborative release through Truth & Soul Records. We are so hype about this! All you crate diggers get ready. And as for the cd copies, they will be available for purchase through this site before years end. It’s been a process but we promise it will be worth the wait. Thank you guys for your patience, love, support and for rocking with us!
It’s been a blessed year thus far with the band and the release of Conflict Of A Man. With that being said, to add to the beauty of everything we just received word that we made the first round ballot for Grammy Pre Nominations in several categories! We’re excited and humbled by it all. There is clearly a shift in music happening right now and we’re just honored to be apart of it’s cultivation. We ask that you stay in agreement with us that we continue to pass through each round and get an official nod. For all of our friends and colleagues apart of the academy and NARAS we ask that you support us when casting your vote. Thank you ALL for your support of the album and the movement. Stay with us on the journey…
